How do you like Kendall's recliner? They are actually 2 saddle covers that I was taking out to the barn. Kendall decided they looked comfy enough to relax on.
Every night we put Kendall down for bed awake and then go back in an hour or so later to cover her up. Every few nights one of us tells the other "you've got to go see her." This night we decided to take a picture. She was zonked out! She never even flinched with the camera flashed.
Kendall likes to put her juice cup inside things just to see if they fit. Usually she tries things like bigger cups or tupperware. This was the first time she tried her John Deere truck.
It turned out to be a pretty good cup holder!
This is the new rocker that Ma and Pa got her from Round Top. They also got her two more rockers that had to be stained.
She absolutely loves to read. It appears that she has the book turned wrong, but this is her favorite page of the book. It's turned long ways. You can see the hill at the bottom of the page in the next picture.
Uncle Clint brought home a puppy he was puppy sitting Friday. Kendall thought Lulu was just her size. Unfortunately, Lulu didn't think the shrieking Kendall was doing was quite what she had in mind.
Kendall had a very busy Easter. We practiced on Friday so she would know what to do. It was supposed to be stormy Sunday so we hunted eggs on Saturday. She did pretty well looking for them. We had way more eggs than she had attention span so I didn't end up hiding them all.

Towards the end of her hunting she started shaking the eggs and was very intrigued by the sounds inside. That really slowed her down. I think the money inside the eggs Aunt Julie and Uncle Keith brought were the biggest hit. Although she was pretty fond of the Puffs in the eggs too.

Did I mention that she loves Puffs? Aunt Julie and Uncle Keith gave her Puffs, a new sippy cup and sidewalk chalk.
Every kid needs a John Deere T-shirt...especially a little girl that loves tractors!
She got lots of hardy animals from Ma and Pa and don't forget the John Deere t-shirt!
